National Black Writers Conference 2021

Heena Patel is a writer, performer and archive project worker born in the Black Country and based in Manchester. She has been involved in organising feminist and queer events since the early 2000s.  She is one of the organisers of Over Here Zine Fest, an event showcasing the work of Black and Asian artists and writers. She made her first solo zine, World Of Daniel in 2004. She has also contributed to Race Revolt, Reassess Your Weapons and Poor Lass.
